The Cancer System Quality Index highlights where cancer service providers can advance the quality and performance of care.  The index includes 31 different indicators spanning the continuum of cancer care, along with several measures related to cancer prevention. These are used by health professionals and cancer organizations, planners and policy-makers to identify cancer trends and to plan and make improvements in all areas of cancer prevention, care and survivorship.

All indicators in the index have been categorized based on where they fall in the patient journey, the types of cancer to which they apply and the quality dimensions they meet.  You can utilize any of these three categories to search and view the indicators which make up the index.
